I first picked up a guitar at the age of nine and was hooked. That thrill of being able to create sound and rhythm from this hunk of wood has never left me and I am still as engrossed in finding out what it can do as I was then. My music reflects this enthusiasm and journey of exploration. I find interest in many different styles and genres and this and this comes through in my compositions and playing style. The result is something different, engaging and thoughtful. No cliches here, no hackneyed blues riffs or introspective noodling. My music is about emotion and a desire to carry a melodic line, like a song without a singer.

I live and write in the beautiful surroundings of Cornwall and hope that much of my music reflects this beauty. I have played in various guises on many stages and had my music widely played on radio and in particular BBC Radio 6 and Radio 2.
